Carry the Glass Together How to Find a Partner

Carry the Glass Together is sold as a 2-player co-op obby. The official description says you cannot do it alone. If you spawned next to the lobby statue with nobody to hold the other side of the glass, this page is the queue guide. It is not a dating app. It is the practical list of who to ask, where to stand, and how to avoid a troll who shatters on purpose.

If you already have a friend online, send them the official experience link and meet at the statue. Then go to Getting Started. Everything below is for people who do not have that friend tonight.

Why solo will not work

The pane is a two-handle object. One avatar can drag it a few studs and then physics wins. Even if a stretch glitch lets you wobble into the first flowers, you will not clear the hammer gantry. Do not spend an hour proving the listing wrong. Find a partner.

Two-controller solo on one PC is a Steam-game meme, not a supported Roblox mode here. Console support is for two people, not one person with two pads unless you enjoy suffering. We will not write that as a strategy.

Fastest sources of a partner

1. Roblox friends list. Anyone who already plays 2-player obbies (Don’t Shatter, Carry a Friend, Chained) will understand the joke immediately. Send the place link, not a cryptic “join me”.
2. Server chat in a populated instance. The experience has a server size large enough that you should see other avatars at the statue. Type “need 1 for glass” once. Spamming it is how people ignore you.
3. Ritronics Studios group. Members already decided they care about this title. A polite ask in the group wall beats a cold DM. See group rewards.
4. Voice in Roblox or Discord with people you already know. Callouts on the callout sheet are short; you do not need a huge community.

Do not follow random “pro carry” accounts that want Robux to “duo you to the top”. If you wanted a paid clear, you do not want this game.

How to screen a stranger

A good pickup partner:

• Stands still when you say Wait
• Does not emote with the pane
• Has a mic or at least reads chat
• Does not open a script GUI in the first minute

Walk the first plank together as a test. If they sprint into the river, find someone else. Ten seconds of a test jump is cheaper than a 20-minute hammer argument. Agree who is leader before the second checkpoint.

Language is optional; timing is not. Mixed-language duos can still clear if they use the five words on the callout sheet.

Server hopping

If your instance is empty, hop. Early-beta titles swing between full and dead depending on the hour. Peak times are after school in US and EU regions. If you are in a dead region, play when your friends are actually online instead of hoping a midnight server fills.

VIP servers are not required. A public server is enough if you can hear each other. If trolls keep grabbing your pane, hop once; do not fight them with the glass.

After you pair

Favorite each other if the run is going well so you can requeue after a disconnect. Disconnects without a checkpoint are painful. Then follow how to protect the glass instead of racing a stranger to the hammers to “prove” you are good.

If the partner is better than you, let them lead. Ego shatters more panes than hammers. If you are better, lead quietly. Narrating every mistake in public chat is how people leave.

When you cannot find anyone

Park the game. Watch a 2-player glass-carry video for movement ideas if you want, but remember most big YouTube videos are either Don’t Shatter or the Steam title — not this Roblox map. Come back during a peak hour. Check updates in case a content patch brought players back. Solo lobby walking will not teach you the hammer cycle.

You need a partner. That is the design. The players hub is the rest of the social skill once you have one.
