Carry the Glass Together Session Checklist
Two minutes before you touch the pane, so the hammer gantry is not your warm-up.
This is the sheet you run in the lobby statue circle. It is not a walkthrough. Carry the Glass Together punishes duos who pick up glass while still arguing about shift-lock. Keep this page on a second screen. The parent hub is tools. The words you will actually shout sit on the callout sheet.
If you have never queued, read Getting Started first and use this list on night two.
Before you join
- Confirm the place ID is 81734857983173 — official links. Clone thumbnails are a real waste of a night.
- Favorite the experience so a disconnect can return to this tower, not a glass-bridge clone.
- Decide voice: earbuds, not a shared TV speaker into a phone mic. Delayed counts shatter panes.
- If anyone is on a phone, they read how to play on mobile and lock the jump button in the lobby, not over water.
- If anyone is on a TV, they turn on game mode — console support.
Do not start this list after the pane is in your hands. That is a menu shatter waiting to happen.
In the statue circle (ninety seconds)
- See both avatars. If you queued solo, stop and use how to find a partner. You cannot finish alone.
- Pick a leader. Tighter input leads the count. Pride does not.
- Name left and right (blue/red if the avatars read that way). Say it once.
- Agree camera mode. Both shift-lock or neither. Mixed lock yaws the pane. Controls.
- Read four calls: Wait, Walk, Jump (counted), Hold. Full sheet on callout sheet.
- Checkpoint rule out loud: menus, emotes, and codes only after a hat. Checkpoints.
- No scripts. If someone has a GUI, that is a script safety night, not a climb night.
Then pick the pane up together. If only one of you grabbed it, put it down and retry. A solo hold is already a tilt.
First five minutes on the course
- Walk the grass. Do not sprint. Stretch on flowers is a how to protect the glass fail you can skip.
- Three counted jumps on the first plank. If those fail, you are not ready for water, let alone mallets.
- Bank the first hard-hat checkpoint and stop. Confirm the save. If you are unsure, you are not sure — reread checkpoints.
- Look at the hammer gantry from a safe slab. If thumbs, radios, or tempers are already bad, leave on a win. The hammer gauntlet is a Wait, not a warm-up.
A short honest session beats a two-hour rage clip. The how to beat walkthrough is for when the checklist is boring.
Device add-ons
Phone: jump lock, low look sensitivity, wiki on a second device, say lag before Now. PC: no alt-tab while holding glass; no chat typing on a beam. Console: headphones, moderate stick, jump without releasing movement. Mixed duos let the monitor lead.
Codes and patches
There are still no public active codes as of the September 2026 status snapshot. Do not stall the statue circle hunting a Twitter string. If a real code drops, redeem it after a checkpoint using how to redeem, then climb.
If the place feels different than last week, check updates at a hat, not mid-gantry. Early beta will move floors. Your checklist should not.
After a shatter
Name the cause in one word: stretch, hammer, jump, prop, menu. Swap leader if the same person walks early. Do not skip the grass walk “because we know it”. The pane does not care what you know.
When the night is done, favorite is already on, the callout sheet still fits on a phone, and you can run this list again in ninety seconds. That is the tool.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for duos who keep shattering the pane.
Do we need this if we already know the map?
Yes for camera mode, leader, and the checkpoint rule. Most late shatters start in the lobby, not on the tower.
Where are the spoken words?
On the callout sheet and in callouts.
Can we run this on console?
Yes. Keep the list on a second device. See console support.
Should we redeem codes first?
Only if the codes hub has a real string, and only after a checkpoint.
